Is there any benefit to wearing special running socks instead of normal athletic socks when running in the rain? Just wondering if I'll get blisters if I wear my normal ones (I'm a fair-weather runner so I've never worried about it before, but I might have to run in a wet race someday). Thanks!

I don't know about running in the rain, but I never wear cotton "athletic" socks! I'd suggest going to your local running store, like Achilles in Mentor, and getting some good running socks. They make a huge difference.
